Currently: Wow. This is my latest update to date. But anyways, last night was a lot of fun. At first I hung out at Cameron's and watched episodes of Seinfeld. After that, we, as we always do, ventured out to the Pike house to see if anything was going on there. We arrive at the house to find that there is indeed a party, but for some reason the door was locked. So I knock to see what's going on. One of the brothers answers the door and tells me that the party is indeed closed to Greeks and Girlfriends only. Well, lucky for me, I am a Greek. It took the guys awhile to figure out that I am in fact one, and they really didn't believe me at first, but I am let in and invite Cameron in as well and say that she could pose as my "girlfriend" for the night. Haha. Well she wasn't having it and said that it was okay to just go in without her and she went home. Such a Cameron thing to do, but I know where she's coming from, so it's understandable. Being at the party alone at first, I was really nervous and overwhelmed because I didn't know barely anybody there...but I pulled myself together and gathered enough strength to introduce myself and speak to some people...and believe it or not, it worked out. I spoke to a lot of the people there, even the Pikes themselves (because they had always intimidated me) and they were all actually pretty cool. Oh, and I also danced a little. I think the only asshole moment of the night was when the guys were doing their midnight ritual (which involves making a "brother's circle" and singing along to "piano man") and I ended up in the brother's circle when I wasn't supposed to. Of course, I was eventually kicked out of the circle (not forcefully, of course) and at one point was under the armpits of about five guys. haha. It was still cool though. I walked back home with a girl who lives across the hall from me named Erin and she appreciated the fact that I took care of her (cause she was pretty drunk). And that was last night. Today was cool. It was pretty nice out, so that made me happy. I was also pretty productive today. I did a little bit of studying earlier on in the day, and went to my AST business meeting. I also went to open lab an hour ago, and here I am now. Right now I am about to do some more studying and then call it a night. Hmmmm...not only has this been my latest entry, but my longest as well! This is an entry for the books!!!...my books, that is.
Mood: Pretty cool.
