Currently: Spring Break is coming to an end in these parts...and it's just another boring Saturday night for me. For one I ran out of wine last night so that left me with no choice but to spend the first saturday night in awhile sober.Haha But it hasn't been that bad. I just got done watching some old episodes of MTV's Road Rules (remember that show???) and for some reason tonight I am really thirsty so i've been drinking water like a fiend. And yup those things have been the highlight of my night. Whatever. It's better than nothing. I can't help but think though (since i've been reviewing my daily planner to make sure i'm up to date with everything) that the next couple of months really ARE going to fly by. I mean this coming week alone I have an in class discussion/presentation plus a meeting with a local legislator. And then I have a couple more in class presentations plus the University presentation (that is, if my Abstract gets accepted), and then I have my big THESIS presentation and a "Lunch with the Scholars" ditty and then Easter Break, and then one more pointless in class presentation...and then I start Fieldwork and walk in the graduation ceremony that same week. WOW! I mean don't get me wrong this does make me happy, but a little nervous at the same time. Once May comes along I am in The Real World and after July I am REALLY in the Real World. Scary. But anyways I have also been thinking a lot about the types of vacations I would like to take once I actually start making money. I know my first trip will DEFINITELY be to Lodi, California to see my friend. I hate to admit it but I decided to take that trip mostly cause i've always wanted to see the West Coast (but especially Cali) and this is just a great opportunity to get me there. I was also thinking after the Cali trip to maybe then take a vacation in Miami, another place i've always wanted to see and party at. And then after Miami maybe i'd try Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. One of my cousins just got married there and based on the pictures she took alone I could tell that it is a VERY nice place...but I shall see. Anyways for now I think i'm going to call it a night soon. I notice that one of the things i've really started enjoying (which is another Bonus of living by myself) is sleeping in the nude. Whoever's reading this should really try it! You feel so free and liberated. I also like to do it sometimes when I don't shower for the day to avoid feeling dirty, gross and sticky in my clothes.Haha Whatever works!
